“I am drawn to pediatric dentistry for the unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on a child’s oral health from an early age.”

– Anisha Sehgal, D.D.S.

Dr. Anisha Sehgal grew up in Cherry Hill, NJ, where she discovered her passion for dentistry at a young age. She pursued this dream through an accelerated program at Lehigh University and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where she was awarded a Dean’s Scholarship for academic excellence. After earning her dental degree and graduating with honors in the Medically Complex Clinic, she completed a general practice residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.

Dr. Sehgal went on to receive advanced training in a special care dentistry fellowship at the Rose F. Kennedy Center in New York City, where she provided comprehensive dental care for developmentally disabled pediatric and adult patients. She later completed her pediatric dental residency at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego.

A board-certified pediatric dentist and Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Sehgal is also an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the College of Diplomates, the Maryland Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Dental Association. She has had the privilege of caring for children and families in both Los Angeles and Philadelphia and is now excited to bring her experience, warmth, and dedication to Smiles4Children, where she looks forward to helping young patients build healthy smiles in a positive and supportive environment.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Sehgal enjoys reading, cooking, practicing yoga, and traveling with her husband to explore new places and cultures. She believes her love of learning, creativity, and exploration helps her connect with children and families, making each visit comfortable, engaging, and memorable.
